This month has been all about stories...hearing them, telling them, making them, and their vital importance to community and human relations.
It got me thinking that a picture is a story, or at least 1,000 words worth. Yet the story a picture tells is different for every viewer, and may even be different each time for the same viewer. All those stories almost certainly differ from the photographer's version.
So here I present a story, sans context or commentary. Yes, it's deliberately mysterious, perhaps even provocative - but then isn't that characteristic of the best stories?
