I mean this is the city of Nice in the south of France, close to Italy. This region is also known as the Côte d'Azur, or azure blue coast. Nice and blue - thank you Captain Obvious. Something else obvious, it's summer. So I chose a summer photo for this month, but that was only a secondary reason. The main reason I chose this shot is for the color. Looking back I realized that the last few months I selected (some intentionally, others not) images with fall colors to take us through spring.
