Hi,

It pains me to say that I don't remember the name of the troupe this lady in orange was performing with. But I took this picture long before I was a circus enthusiast...and honestly I wouldn't have really even thought of this as circus at the time.

I just thought it was a cool, beautiful, and unbelievable performance.

She was one of four performers perched atop a sway poles in front of the World Financial Center Winter Garden here in NYC.

They were each up there about 20 feet high on top of poles that, if you couldn't tell from the name, sway. And boy do they sway! I don't mean like a poplar tree in the wind. This was more like a fishing pole with a big fish on!

As with anything circus, words can't do it justice. But it doesn't really matter, because this photo isn't about the sway. It's about a vision in orange, so tall and majestic, her feet don't even touch the ground.
