Hi,

Or should I say...Happy Holidays! The season is upon us and we started it off by spending Thanksgiving weekend glamping in a luxurious vintage Airstream up in the woods of Cold Spring, NY.

It was a lovely getaway full of nature, campfires, good food, good friends, and art.

One of my favorite museums is in the next town over from Cold Spring, Dia:Beacon. I believe this is one of the best places to experience the works of one of my favorite artists, Richard Serra.

His Torqued Ellipses are something I will never tire of, and the way they are displayed in the mezzanine here just adds so much to the encounter.

The windows that span the length of the space are large and fairly ordinary in an industrial sense, yet somehow distinctive. It is the light - ever-changing depending on the weather, season and time of the day - through these windows that adorns Serra's pieces and elevates them beyond their (already incredible) magnificence.

Here, my wife adds even more.

Enjoy,
Randy
