Does that change what you see? I took this photo - as with most of these - while on a journey. The icy blue/green hue comes from cross-processing slide film as a negative. Perhaps it's this arctic tinge that adds to the illusion that this is a road leading off through the snow toward the mountains. That's what most people see at first glance. But look more closely and you'll see that it's not snow, but clouds, and with that hint you can figure out what the "road" is. I chose this photo because I'll be flying quite a bit this month, and also as an illusory nod to winter (though it was actually shot in summer). Enjoy! Randy Photo of the Month archive
