Hi,
Fall is upon us. The days grow shorter, the temperature less temperate, and nature has a way of becoming more dramatic.
The leaves go out in a blaze of glory with one last burst of fiery color, and the sun's daily setting - now happening pre-dinner time - just seems more captivating.
We were lucky enough to go out for a sunset sail this month on the 1929 schooner I used to work on. It was a perfect evening, a bit warmer than normal for the date but crisp enough that a fall jacket felt perfect as we sailed through the harbor.
The fall clouds (and New Jersey smog ;^) made for the breathtaking sunset you see here silhouetting Liberty Island.
Enjoy!
