While that means thousands of people dressing to impress and parades of couture - a word that fittingly sounds more closely related to "costume" than "clothing" - it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with style. This lovely couple are fashionable, to be sure, but it wasn't what they were wearing that caught my eye. It's how they wore it. They had a style and grace that somehow even transcends a still photograph. Out for a stroll along Central Park on a perfectly pleasant summer afternoon, they owned Fifth Avenue with an effortless elegance. I'm so thrilled that they were gracious enough to allow me to (attempt to) capture their charm in this Polaroid transfer print.
